Mourning the Loss of Rev. Gerald J. Chojnacki, S.J.

Ignatian family:

ISN mourns the loss of Rev. Gerald J. Chojnacki, S.J., who died suddenly on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Beth Israel Hospital.  Fr. Chojnacki  served as Provincial of the New York Province of the Society of Jesus from 2002 to 2008 and was an important supporter of the Ignatian Solidarity Network during that time.   He celebrated the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice Liturgy in November of 2007 in Columbus, Georgia, where he shared personal reflections on the lives of the Jesuit martyrs of El Salvador.

Please join the entire Ignatian family in praying for Fr. Chojnacki’s and his family, especially his sister Eileen Correll.
