Returned Immigrant Parents Welcomed by Loyola Marymount University Students

On Wednesday, January 22, 2020, nine parents separated from their children under President Trump’s zero-tolerance policy and then deported were reunited with their families at Los Angeles International Airport. A group of Loyola Marymount University students was there to welcome them.

Fill Your Insides With Mercy, Say Latin America Catholic Leaders to President Trump

Last month as public pressure was mounting regarding the Trump Administration’s “zero-tolerance” border prosecution policy that separated over 2,300 children from their parents with no reunification plan the Catholic leaders in Latin America who belong to the Latin American and the Caribbean Network of Migration, Refuge and Treatment of Persons (CLAMOR)  sent a very personal appeal to President Trump.
