Did you know 65,000 undocumented students would benefit from the DREAM Act each year helping to build our community and economy?  How about the fact that there are 16.6 million people who have mixed-status families and are at risk for marginalization by detainment and deportation?

Did  you hear what Pope Francis had to say about our treatment of migrants?, he said, “A change of attitude toward migrants and refugees is needed on the part of everyone, moving away from attitudes of defensiveness and fear, indifference and marginalization – all typical of a throwaway culture – towards attitudes based on a culture of encounter, the only culture capable of building a more just and fraternal world.”
