Did you know that in all 50 states a minimum wage worker will not earn enough to rent a two-bedroom apartment?  How about the fact that if the federal minimum wage had kept up with inflation over the past 40 years it would be $10.74, not $7.25? And, did you know that if the Federal Minimum Wage were raised, over 30 million workers would benefit, 88% of them being adults?

Join ISN and the U.S. Jesuit Conference in advocating for the dignity of minimum wage workers by calling for the passage of the Fair Minimum Wage Act, legislation that would increase the federal minimum wage to $10.10/hour by 2015 and begin adjusting minimum wage to inflation starting in 2016.  CLICK HERE to send an e-mail to your legislators TODAY asking them to support the Fair Minimum Wage Act!

Please be a voice for the dignity of workers!

Sincerely,

Christopher Kerr | Executive Director
