What comes to your mind when you hear the phrase “Jesuit education”?
For Fr. Kolvenbach, it was all about the paths students and graduates of Jesuit institutions follow. For me, it means solidarity, compassion, and becoming an agent of change.
This question can be answered in diverse ways–each individual’s story is different.
Students of various Jesuit universities around the U.S. shared their own experiences of Jesuit education and what it means for each of them, personally.
As witnessed in the words of Jesuit university students, a Jesuit education has a profound impact. From instilling Ignatian values, to promoting a more just world, the depth and breadth of this type of education runs very deep.
These testimonies are only small parts of the range of experiences that students have experienced within their own Jesuit institutions.
