DiAnne Patterson Schultz is a widowed mother and grandmother who has spent her lifetime in Detroit, Michigan. An alumnus of Detroit Mercy, Eastern Michigan University, and Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, she also completed the Internship in Ignatian Spirituality at Manresa Jesuit Retreat House; and as a trained Spiritual Director, she has led people through the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. She continues to nurture her life through worship at Gesu Catholic Church in Detroit, volunteer work, and indulging her favorite pastimes of enjoying music, communing with nature, and traveling.
