Part 2 - March 24, 2013 marked the thirty-third anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero in San Salvador, El Salvador. Prior to his death Romero reflected on the potential of losing his life because of his vocal advocacy for the economically poor and marginalized. He said, "If they kill me, I will live on in the Salvadoran people." This foreshadowing is an understatement in many ways, as Romero has become an inspiration for people well beyond the borders of El Salvador.
