The Ignatian Mass for Life will be celebrated prior to the March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 9:30 AM, at St. Aloysius Church (19 I St NW, Washington, DC 20001) adjacent to Gonzaga College High School. Doors to the church will open at 9:00 AM. Facemasks are required.
Members of the Ignatian family, including delegations from Jesuit colleges and universities, high schools, parishes, and other ISN member institutions are welcome to attend. However, space is limited and groups must RSVP here.
OPPORTUNITIES TO ASSIST WITH MASS
School and parish delegations are invited to offer support for the mass including serving as lectors, eucharistic ministers, altar servers, etc. We are also seeking a school/parish willing to lead the music for the liturgy. You can share your interests when you RSVP. Priests and deacons are asked to share if they plan to concelebrate the liturgy when RSVP’ing so that the sacristan can plan accordingly.
In January 2018, the Jesuits re-issued, “Protecting the Least Among Us: A Statement of the Society of Jesus in the United States on Abortion” which asked Jesuits and their collaborators to continue to stand in solidarity with the unborn and with mothers in difficult situations.
