While the fate of Temporary Protected Status for currently designated countries is uncertain, it is still necessary to start preparing clients and the community for potential terminations. The Catholic Legal Immigration Network, a fellow member of the USCCB’s Justice for Immigrants Campaign will host a webinar on July 25, 2017, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM EASTERN to address the following items related to TPS:
- Current TPS designations and anticipated timelines for determinations on termination/extension
- Advising and screening clients for other forms of relief
- How designated countries are supporting their diaspora in the United States
- CLINIC’s advocacy efforts to defend TPS and other forms of humanitarian relief
