Please join us on April 6th for a one day workshop entitled, “Mother Earth, Mother Mary: Viewing the Crisis of Global Warming Through the Lens of Franciscan Spirituality and Marian Devotion!” In the spirit of St. Francis, the patron saint of ecology, we will be looking at the effects and causes of global warming and climate change, evaluating them against the Franciscan intellectual and spiritual tradition, and fostering active and prayerful change in our lives and communities. We will also be asking how we can re-image devotion to the Blessed Mother as witness, model, and advocate for ecological justice. The workshop will be held on the beautiful historical grounds of Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, CA. Cost is $15 and includes an earth-friendly lunch! Contact Eric for more details and to RSVP!
