Support Fast4Families Bus Tour

Ignatian Family:

In an effort to broaden the scope of ISN’s humane immigration reform advocacy efforts, ISN is working with a number of national Catholic organizations to support the Fast4Families national bus tour for immigration reform – a spin off of their efforts on the National Mall this past fall. The tour will visit 35 states between January 29th and April 9th – utilizing 2 bus routes and as well as individual visits to key locations for the immigration debate.

How can you and your university, high school, parish or community organization support the fasters if you are along the route (see route below)?

For clergy and women religious – lead a prayer service along the Bus Route
Host a community meeting at your church/community center/etc.
Organize local allied groups to attend events along the route
Provide housing/meals at stops along the route for Bus Tour Participants

What about if I am not along the route (see route below)?

Pray, Advocate and Fast in your local community
Host a solidarity event for the fasters in your community
Make an in-distrct visit to your representative’s office during Ignatian Family Advocacy Month
Organize a post-card campaign using ISN’s “Humane Immigration Reform” postcards
