Walsh Jesuit High School seeks a mission-focused professional to join its Campus Ministry Department in the role of Campus Minister beginning with the 2024/25 academic year in August 2024.  This is a full-time, 10-month position.

The primary responsibilities of this position involve providing Ignatian based programming designed to develop students’ relationships with God, themselves and others by providing support in the areas of prayer, liturgy, retreats, immersions, service & justice initiatives and pastoral care. Specific responsibilities include developing & executing service programs, student retreats, immersion programs, liturgy, and other ministerial programming.

The ideal candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic who displays a lived faith that exhibits the mission of the school, has earned at least a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Theology/Pastoral Ministry/Social Justice or a related field, and has experience with Ignatian Spirituality.  The ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities simultaneously as well as prior teaching/Campus Ministry experience is also important.  Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed, be certified by the Cleveland Diocese to teach high school Catholic Theology, and be able to obtain van certification to help transport students to various programs.
