Santa Clara University to Premiere XLIII Requiem Honoring Victims of Violence
On January 15, 2016, Santa Clara University, in collaboration with Montalvo Arts Center, will present XLIII: A Contemporary Requiem to honor victims of violence worldwide, including 43 male students from Ayotzinapa, Guerrero, Mexico who were kidnapped in 2014 after traveling to the city of Iguala to stage a protest against perceived government corruption.

Jesuit Conference Calls for an End to Immigration Raids Targeting Central Americans
The Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United Sates has issued a statement denouncing the Obama Administration's decision to conduct nationwide raids in order to deport Central Americans in the U.S. seeking refugee and asylum status.
