Wednesday, April 22, marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day—a day honoring the interconnectedness of humanity and all of creation, and our role in caring for our common home.
Join us next Wednesday-Friday to connect, restore, and act as we mark 50 years of Earth Day.
How can I participate in Earth Week?
- Wednesday-Friday: fast from meat and receive prayer/reflection reminders
- Wednesday: connect with digital conversations (see below!)
- Thursday: fast from screens and restore your connection with creation
- Friday: take action
Now, more than ever, our faith calls us to hear the cry of the earth and of our neighbors who are most vulnerable, especially in times of calamity, and to take immediate action to “flatten the carbon curve.” Join us as we put into action a “faith that does justice.”
