Maryknoll’s Holy Week Mission Discernment Retreat invites you to prayerfully enter with us into the mystery and joy of the Easter triduum. In this prayerful setting you’ll be invited to discern cross-cultural & international mission, to meet other Catholics with similar passions and questions, and to celebrate Easter together.
Our retreat is jointly hosted by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers, the Maryknoll Sisters and the Maryknoll Lay Missioners. We have organized it into three separate tracks:
- Track 1 – Hosted by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers: For men, ages 21-40, discerning a call to missionary priesthood or brotherhood in cross-cultural mission service.
- Track 2 – Hosted by the Maryknoll Sisters: For women, ages 21-35, discerning a call to religious life and cross-cultural mission service.
- Track 3 – Hosted by the Maryknoll Lay Missioners: For men and women ages 21 and up, couples and families discerning a call to cross-cultural lay mission service.
(Cost is $60 for Track 3 only.)
Portions of our retreat will be organized by track. Other portions will bring everyone together. There will be opportunities during the retreat to meet and learn from Maryknollers from all walks of our mission life. Please use the registration form (attached) to choose the track that best fits your interest.
Lodging and meals will be provided from dinner on Wednesday, April 12th through breakfast on Sunday, April 16th. Our retreat begins on Thursday, April 13th, but we recommend arrival on Wednesday, April 12th (if possible) in order to get settled and centered before our retreat begins.
