The Ignatian Solidarity Network, in partnership with Ethix Merch, is excited to offer this Catholic Ethical Purchasing Alliance Mini-Immersion entitled “The Story Behind Ethical Textile Production” from August 8-10, 2023. The intended audience is college, university, and secondary school partner administrators and other staff. We hope that this provides participants with a quick but deep dive into the work of our ethical production partners in Western North Carolina.

The experience will include the following:
● The opportunity to meet with worker-owners at textile production facilities;
● To engage in dialogue with ethical production industry leaders;
● To experience parts of the ethical “dirt to shirt” path by encountering the various stages of
the production process;
● To network with fellow Catholic education administrators and staff engaged in bringing
ethical product lines to their campuses and communities.
