

Solidarity On Tap is a simple gathering at a local pub for socializing and social justice. The Ignatian Solidarity Network, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, Jesuit School of Theology of Santa University, Boston College School of Theology and Ministry, and Jesuitical along with The Church of St. Francis Xavier, St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish, America Media, and other local partners welcome all to Solidarity on Tap | NYC.
Around 7:30 PM we will have a reflection on immigration by Linda Chavez of the New Sanctuary Coalition, Liz Vincent of Jesuit Conference’s Office of Ecology and Justice, and Anna Brown from St. Peter’s University’s Center for Undocumented Students.

Elizabeth (Liz) Vincent is the Advocacy Associate on immigration for the Jesuit Conference Office of Justice and Ecology in Washington, DC. She coordinates and directs the Conference’s immigration advocacy efforts. Before coming to the Conference, Liz worked on immigration and climate change policy for the Mennonite Central Committee. Prior to moving to DC, Liz lived in Bolivia where she worked with indigenous communities organizing to protect their land and water rights in the face of natural resource extraction. Liz earned her B.S. in Chemistry and International Development from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.
