Xavier University is now home to one of the five new electric vehicle fast-charging stations unveiled by the city of Cincinnati recently. Xavier is one of several institutions partnering with the city in an attempt to make Cincinnati greener and more attractive to those who own or are looking to buy electrical cars.

The University of Scranton’s 200,000-square-foot Loyola Science Center earned LEED gold status. LEED certification is globally recognized as the premier mark of achievement in green building, a concept to which the University has long been committed, said Mark Murphy, the University’s director of sustainability.

John Carroll University Committs to St. Francis Pledge

12/19/13 – John Carroll University became the fifth U.S. Jesuit university to sign the “Saint Francis Pledge” to Care for Creation and the Poor, led by the Catholic Coalition on Climate Change, making the university a partner in the national movement for faithful action on climate change.
