The Director of Christian Service of Loyola School is a member of the Campus Ministry Department, which is chaired by the Director of Campus Ministry. The Director of Christian Service collaborates with the Director of Campus Ministry in promoting the school’s Ignatian identity, particularly in the articulation of the service of faith and promotion of justice. The Director of Christian Service implements both the required and optional components of the school’s four-year, required Christian Service program. Specifically, the Director of Christian Service is responsible for the active service component of the school’s program; the class-time component of the school’s curriculum; organizing/running the school’s optional service trips; participating in the culture of the school; other responsibilities as directed by the principal.
